At Nu-U Float Studio and Health Bar, we’ve been making the most of summer, with you in mind. We’re ready to float into the second half of this summer with clear minds and energized bodies,

and we hope you’ll be joining us!

With the heat of August already in full force, don’t forget to chill out and cool off with some Floatation Therapy and a refreshing beverage from our Health Bar. The start of August also allows us to reconnect with nature, shining at its brightest. Be sure to enjoy a sunset stroll down by the beautiful Grand River trails right outside the studio.

Benefits of Floatation Therapy:

Blood Flow and Muscle Recovery

If you’re already a devoted floater, you might be aware of the immense physiological benefits of floating. If you haven’t tried it yet, we hope you’ll give yourself the gift of relaxation and recovery this season.

Summer is a fascinating time to be alive! Many of us are indulging in the enjoyment of time spent with friends and family. This often means enjoying delicious foods and beverages, which may leave us feeling the need for a day of recovery after a weekend of fun. Floating offers a lovely way to relax and recharge by stimulating blood flow through the entire body. This relieves built up tension, especially in the muscles, while reducing inflammation.

Floatation therapy is a critical component to muscle recovery. As we’re cheering on our Olympians at the Tokyo Olympics this summer, we can take a moment to appreciate our own bodies for the way they carry us through all of the activities we love. If you’ve got your sights set on the next Olympic Games, or if you love your sport for the sake of the game, you should absolutely consider adding Floatation Therapy to your training and recovery practice.

Floatation Therapy has been used by Olympians for decades as a crucial component of their training regimen. Along with traditional practices such as massage therapy, acupuncture and physical therapy, many athletes choose Floatation Therapy as an added means to relieve their bodies of muscle soreness and inflammation, as well as benefiting from mental stress-relief and meditation for success.

Elite athletes across the globe have found enhancement in their athletic performance through the use of Floatation Therapy. Gold medal-winning American track and field Olympian, Carl Lewis, quarterback of the New England Patriots, Tom Brady, and soccer striker of Manchester United, Wayne Rooney, are a handful of elite, professional athletes who praise the benefits of Floatation Therapy.

Are you ready to step up your game this summer?
